The Day of New Beginnings
Who's In Control?
Standing on the outside looking in, the Kingdom of God will always appear chaotic and disjointed. That’s because it lacks the order and familiarity of the soul realm. There is an innate sense of order and need to organize buried deep within the Adamic nature. It’s related to the drive of the Adamic soul realm to control. The Adamic nature always seeks to control. Whether it’s our own lives or the lives of others, control is the driving force of the Adamic nature. When we have control there is a sense of order and “everything in its place”. For this reason God will continually break down and frustrate the attempts of the soul to have control. Ironically, when everything is under the control of the soul realm, and everything is “set in order”, the heavens are closed to us receiving a deeper revelation of the Lord. When things seem chaotic and beyond our control, then we find the spirit realm open and we can move into the deeper things of the Lord.
Who is in control? We only move deeper into the Kingdom of God as we develop a deeper trust and faith in the Lord. This comes about through a perpetual devastation of the soul life’s attempt to control. How does the Adamic nature control? It controls through the development of bonds. The Adamic soul life controls through bonds with others. This is the one great reason God has spoken that in the Kingdom of God there is to be no position. The hierarchy that exists in the church world is designed to control the people in it. This usurps the Lordship of Jesus Christ over His people. God continually devastates the soul realm of those moving into sonship because He alone is to be Lord over them. When we are unable to exercise control over our lives or the lives of others, then a humble faith is created in God’s sufficiency to bring forth His will.
There will never be an organized movement or group that is the pure expression of the Kingdom of God. The organization of the soul realm works against the purposes of God. It closes the heavens. When there seems to be no unity or oneness in the soul realm, the door is wide open to experience the true oneness of the Spirit. This explains why many of God’s sons are coming forth in what appears to be austere spiritual climates, devoid of any church activity. The isolation on one level opens the door for fellowship on a higher level. The oneness of the Spirit bypasses the unity of the soul realm. The soul realm unity of the bulk of Christianity exists through soulish bonding. Churches, groups, movements, etc. are held together through the control of soul bonds. Hierarchy does not exist in the Kingdom of God. Paul expressed it perfectly in 1st Cor. 12. He likened the body of Christ to the human body. Not any one member of our bodies, such as the hand or the foot, can claim superiority over the rest of the members. Paul writes, “But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. If they were all one member, where would the body be? But now there are many members, but one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; or again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."
In spite of this revelation, position and hierarchy persist in the church realm, even among groups who claim to be moving in divine order. What worked in the church age in the way of apostles, prophets, pastors, elders, etc. will not work on the higher plane of spirit God is bringing. Inevitably, church order will exercise control over God’s people in a way that protracts infancy and limits their spirits in God. This happens in the most well meaning environments. Concern for the sheep is often voiced in the intrusion into the personal lives of the people of a given group. This concern, though well intentioned, is misplaced. Ultimately, the revelation of the Lord to our spirits must be the deciding factor in the decisions we make and how we live our lives.
Impartation is the channel by which God’s sons will grow into maturity. The level of growth and maturity needed to function on the higher plane of spirit God is opening can only come through impartation, not soul realm teaching and control. We are to be open to one another and allow the Christ in each of us to flow out and minister. In this environment true divine order naturally takes place. What Christ is in me and what Christ is in you has a mutual exchange. Authority flows naturally in this environment. God has not done away with authority and that is not what is being spoken here. When we are mutually open, Christ’s authority will be manifested through those who carry it without the trappings of position or titles. Those titles vary greatly. Whether the titles are pastor or elder, apostle or prophet, spiritual father or mother, they all carry an element of soulish control. What God is doing is eliminating these titles and positions while continuing to manifest the spiritual flow and authority associated with them. The minute a man or woman assumes the position or title of these spiritual streams, he or she begins to dam up the flow. The restraint and control that comes through position is many times very, very subtle. If we are sensitive enough to recognize it, we will see that every time ministry comes through a title or position, a restraint of some kind affects the recipient’s spirit.
We want to live in a spiritual environment where the purity of Christ can flow between us. Soulish bonds must be eliminated for this to happen. The familiarity of the soul realm must give way to mutual respect on a spirit level. This requires a great deal of devastation by God upon that which has been familiar and orthodox to us. Jesus taught to function in such a way as to not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing (Mat. 6:3-4). The true ministry of impartation is coming through channels who are content to love God’s people and be a conduit of blessing to them. Many, many times impartation will come to our spirits, revealing Christ, without us ever knowing exactly who is beaming the blessing to us. The soul realm of control and recognition is eliminated.
This all brings about a major question. If the impartation and flow of oneness in the Spirit comes through the destruction of the soul realm ministry and control the church age has known, how will the Kingdom manifest itself in future days? The answer is a huge paradigm change. God will bring to an end “church” as we have known it. Large assemblies and movements and congregations will give way to what seems to be insignificant, scattered pockets of believers who are sharing in a common revelation of Jesus Christ. The emphasis of the Holy Spirit is the glory of what is taking place in the spirit realm, not the attraction of the soul realm.
